Angie Baker, SAC Director
Angie Baker began working at the Oklahoma SAC in 2008 when it was still housed at the Oklahoma Criminal Justice Resource Center. She became the SAC Director and Statistical Research Coordinator in April 2010. Ms. Baker has managed multiple research projects and program evaluations related to law enforcement, drug trends, gang violence, and domestic violence. Under her direction, SAC staff conducted the first statewide crime victimization survey and the first research project using state incident-based reporting data. Ms. Baker serves on the Oklahoma Violent Death Reporting System Committee, the State Epidemiological Outcomes Workgroup, and the OSBI Forensic Science Center Research Consortium. She earned her B.A. in sociology from the University of Oklahoma and is currently working on her M.A. in criminal justice management and administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. Prior to working for the SAC, Ms. Baker spent several years working in mental health and substance abuse services.
