Vermont's Morris Chosen as Academic Fellow to Study Terrorism Defense

Travis Morris, Ph.D., a Research Associate at the Vermont Center for Justice Research (VCJR) and Assistant Professor at Norwich University, has been named an Academic Fellow by the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD), a non-partisan policy institute headquartered in Washington, D.C. As a 2013-14 Academic Fellow, he will travel to Israel at the end of June for an intensive and multidisciplinary study of the ways in which democratic nations can defend themselves from terrorism. Dr. Morris, who conducts research and training on evidence-based policing for the VCJR, also teaches courses at Norwich University on policing, terrorism, criminology, and homeland security.
